Okay guys, I promise it's almost done... · 8:26am Dec 24th, 2012
And how can I promise that?
In the Shadow of an Eclipse just broke 12500 words, y'all! And if you're curious, that word is 'spent'!
Okay, I admit it's not as big a progress as I should have to show for all this wait, but life is throwing hurdle after hurdle at me, and it's making it difficult to write.
One of which is a special mention to my beta, Copy Cat, who went through some personal issues that I had to help with, so I had no time these last few days, and no beta.
But, that's a-OK now, so it's back to writing.
Preview for next chapter, to keep you eager:

As they all looked at Rarity, Twilight repeated, "It is all over, right Rarity?"
Rarity, from her corner of Twilight's balloon, looked at them silently.
"Right, Rarity?" Maybe she was still in shock from her abduction by the Changelings?
Without saying a word, Rarity stood, walked over to the balloon's door, opened it, and jumped out, green flame licking the edge of the door as she fell.
The remaining passengers sat in silence for a moment, before Twilight walked over and calmly shut the door.
"Let's go home," she said.
