Unfortunately for Eclipse fans, it's a new Chapter of Her Bright Smile in the works.
'But reyin,' I hear you say, 'you haven't released a chapter of Eclipse in two months, and the last Smile chapter was two DAYS ago!'
Well... yes. And there's a reason for that.
Ya see, when I'm writing, I have to put myself in a mood, or else I can't write the characters properly. To write Eclipse's story, I have to think like Eclipse, which gives me the method behind his illusions and his general personality.
The same goes for Her Bright Smile, which I write from Hutch's point of view, but there's a difference between Eclipse and Hutch.
Specifically, Eclipse's personality and outlook are ones I created, while Hutch is based off of a very traumatic point in my life that I'm still working through.
Recently, I've been having more and more flashbacks to that time in my life, so it's been easier to write chapters for Her Bright Smile. Don't worry about Eclipse being abandoned, though. I'm working on that chapter, too!
