Event time! (Important Blog Post) · 7:15pm April 20th
I've decided to launch another interactive event. However, instead of focusing on a holiday, I'm focusing on something else.
For the following three weeks (Meaning from April 21st 2024 to May 11th) I will be doing my usual story stuff, but where the interactive part of this event comes in, is actually on those of you who write Fanfics.
This event is being called "Slade's Downfall". Of all my original villians, Slade is the longest running one who while I know how his tyranny ends, it's the inbetween stuff that I have been wanting to end off for the longest time.
And so, I figured that it was about time to end Slade's reign as a villian character on my profile. But, in order to end him off once and for all, those of you who write fanfics can influence the in-between before I end off Slade as a villain for good.
How do you influence this? Well it's easy: Whatever your next chapter is for whatever story your making, make Slade be the villain. Slade is able to shape shift his appearance using black magic, though his standard form is a human who wears your typical standard human clothing. The difference is that Slade is obviously pure psychopath what with how he kills others.
The way this works, is that during your next chapter, make one of the characters in the story (doesn't matter who) being targeted by Slade and have the mystery of who hired him remain just that: A mystery. Of course, what's going to happen is your going to then plot armor that character, have the main cast of the story disarm his left hand, and then Slade proceeds to flee.
For the next three weeks, all of you who contribute a chapter to this event will receive a shout-out in a special blog post once the three week period is over so long as you provide a link to your story in some fashion (PM me or comment on a blog post, it doesn't matter). Then, the following week will see a special one-off story akin to "Easter Madness 2024" where all the main characters who particpiated in making Slade Flee participate in the final battle against the self-proclaimed "King of Despair".
No one is exempt, everyone is welcome to participate, and you will play a huge role in helping me end one of the longest villain arcs in the history of my life. Every pony wins!
