Idea for Fanfic. · 2:43am March 19th
I’ve had this idea bubbling around in my head for a little bit.
It goes as follows:
A traditional DnD Party (Paladin, Cleric, Wizard, Bard, Thief) end up in Equestria due to mysterious means. However, they are separated and each section goes through each individual character’s journey through Equestria.
However, they are way in out of their depths with their skill set.
Such as the Wizard being stuck in Appleoosa and having no access to any decent magician to get home or find their friends. Having to get their gross and sweaty 7 strength body to actually do hard work.
The Bard stuck within the confines of a Changeling Hive and unable to utilize his seduction to escape. How do you seduce a bug horse? It turns out, just attempt to seduce the big bug horse and gain Stockholm!
The Paladin stuck within the Everfree (the only one who makes sense, combat wise) but has to encounter the generally peaceful ponies of Ponyville. Specifically the Crown Oath where they swear their fealty to Princess Twilight, and a general butting of morals.
The Thief found in Canterlot and being judged by powerful magical beings, (No charisma : ( ) and their eventual subversion of such magical beings.
And the Cleric lugging about with rabble rousing dragons. Relying on their faith to guide them to their party. Also, an odd sense of Deja vu hanging out with the dragons until they find their friends.
I already do use DND as a general reference for my spell systems for my fanfiction. At least for Verbal and Motion components.
At this point, I’m already trying to write a fan fiction of Anonymous currently, but hey. A side project is good to gain ideas from!
Course the fan fic will also have traditional DND stuff.
Dice Rolls, Materials for spells, the verbal components for spells, and other such fun stuff!
