I don’t know how many people are going to see this, or even how many people still read my stories. It’s been years since I last updated.

I remember starting all this when I was much younger, I wasn’t exactly the most skilled or articulated but I knew wanted to write. The result was a few amateur ideas and an encouraging community. My intent in doing all this was to improve my writing skills, something that I had lacked during my formative years.

At first, it was flattering to see people read my stories, however, soon after I felt the pressure. As a person I am quite open-minded, and I am accepting of criticism, but at some points all I could feel was the criticism and writing was no longer enjoyable for me. That is no fault of anyone, but rather my insecurities at the time.

I understand that my grammar and my writing are inherently imperfect. I am still learning, I am still growing. Notably, I am doing this alone because, quite frankly, I am nervous about letting anyone see my writing, hence why I haven’t reached out to obtain an editor. I appreciate and value the anonymity I have now.

I struggled deeply with things in my personal life and thus left me no energy to continue to create stories. The result was a long hiatus and stale updates. Not continuing to write has been a loss, but it was a decision I had to make to focus on the more demanding tasks of life.

This leads me to now. I have some projects that I started a few years ago and are currently left unfinished. My hope is to finish these projects and publish them by the end of this year. I do not think I am going to continue to write as I’ve been prioritizing my academic pursuits.

I can only hope for your patience as I slowly get back into the groove of things. Thank you so much, for everything.

Well, *I* read this, and I'm looking forward to any continuing projects you're looking towards putting into focus.

Good luck on any and all endeavors you pursue, writing or otherwise!

Arceus said it best, and I agree with them wholeheartedly. I wish you well!
