Harmony Con 2024!!! · 1:26am February 6th
Harmony Con was SO MUCH FUN! If you have the ability to come next year (January 31st-February 2nd 2025 in Dallas) than I wouldn't miss it for the world. These past two Harmony Cons have become core memories that I will always remember. It's worth it!
While at the Con we where starving, we brought only microwavable food yet there was no microwave in the room. All the food at the hotel was either expensive or not good BUT we powered through and had a fantastic time. The Vendors where beyond amazing and two of them became good talking buddies for me and my friends. I met a few people and had some small conversations but sadly I didn't make any solid friendships over the course of the con. I realized how anti social I am.
During the last panel before closing ceremony my heart broke and fell into a deep pit. I felt wrong, like something inside of me that I didn't notice was there shattered. Driving home I felt unfocused, like it was a dream. Random urges to break into tears with a severe depression while doing anything non pony.
I had a good talk with one of the people at the Mare Fair table. He recognized my Woona Hat. I bought my room an hour ago and I need to save some more money before getting my badge and flight. Two Cons in one year, lets hope it works out.
