This is my first blog post and it's in memory of my deceased laptop, Laputa. It be may silly to you that I'm posting a memorial for a computer but she was more than that, she was my friend. How can I be friends with an inanimate object? The same way we can love a show enough to create something as amazing as stories of love and adventure, defeat and hope, tears and laughter; stories which touch the hearts and souls of thousands if not millions of people. Laputa has been with me for many years now. In fact, I got her on Christmas... in a sense it was almost her birthday. She brought me many firsts in my life. My first videos, my first animes, my first e-mail, and of course, my first time here.
She was the source on which I experienced many of lifes lessons. I've made friends as well as enemies, laughter which stole my breath and tears which sprang forth from my very soul. I've stolen glimpses at sights beyond imagination and found tales which mark my very soul. So good night Laputa, my old friend, sleep well.
Felt the same way with my first pc.... Now I'm on PCM no.30
