Apologies and Thanks

Hey all, I know it's been almost a full year since my last chapter post and I apologize sincerely for that. The usual culprits many writers/artists come up against (writer's block, a range of interests on shuffle, distractions from personal life and employment, etc...) hit me pretty hard last year and in all honesty, I just hit a brick wall as to where I wanted the story to go. Still have plenty of doubts as to where it's all going given my original plot ideas from when I started this have changed and expanded significantly, not the least of which being the major additions my bf has helped brainstorm for the world that's expanded its size and scope significantly. As any writer can relate, brainstorming the ideas is much simpler and (in some ways) more enjoyable than actually putting all those random ideas into a coherent path of plot. Having a lot of other interests outside of writing, once the writer's block set in, it became so much easier to play games and watch TV then to write. Enjoying someone else's hard creative work without having to engage my brain beyond that which was required to understand the story. That and I must admit that my interests tend to shuffle around but, I am also happy to admit that I was not entirely idle as a writer during that time as I typed away at a story involving my own spin on the Witcher universe which I put on ice almost four years ago. (Hope to work on it more here and there as my love for Fallout and the Witcher (and others) shuffle about in my rotating cast of things I love. Hope to post it as well sometime.) I also hope to keep this new momentum going through this year and (hopefully) get y'all some more content to read. Everything's still in flux and I've only rough plot ideas for the future but, I'll keep hacking away at it all.

To any reading FoE: War Bird, I am the editor/polisher for my bf's side of the story and so by neglecting my story, I was likewise neglecting his. His next chapter will be my next point of focus before I hop onto the next Post-War chapter for Lone Ranger. The spot his story is at atm requires a lot of my intervention as he is a burgeoning writer with limited experience, I merely just take what he writes and expand on it till we feel it's worth being posted. Considering where his plot currently is stuck, I have been the major roadblock to the next chapter getting posted. We'll get the ball rolling again! We both love this world too much to entirely give up on it and trust me when I say that even though the chapters stopped coming for awhile, our minds were still brewing up ideas.

To all who've stuck with me this long...I/we don't deserve y'all but we hope we can keep you around a bit longer as we see where this shit goes!
