    Happy St. Patrick's Day🍀☘️

Currently doing a bar crawl in Downtown (ok so we started in Corktown and are making our way through any good AVAILABLE bar today) with some friends and a couple of co-workers of mine, who we unintentionally ran into. Turns out great minds think alike! Ironically I'm the "Uber Call Girl" tonight so...unfortunately can't get TOO wasted (plus I actually have work tomorrow...couldn't call off).

Top 10 Worst Movies of 2023 · 10:53pm Dec 31st, 2023

People I've really been doing this consistently for the last 7 years. Wow. Anyways this year was insane for entertainment (both good and BAD). Welp! Let's get this over with:

10. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023): Only because I saw it on Friday and damn....I didn't think my expectations could get any lower for DC and 2023...I was wrong and the DCEU is DEAD! This was a sour note for a swan song. Controversies aside, it just wasn't a good film. 1/5 ⭐️s

9.) The Marvels (2023): I tried to like this one I really tried. It wasn't great. Like I honestly couldn't get a cohesive thought for this one. Aside from one scene that did actually get a chuckle outta me, it was bland. 2/5⭐️s

8.) Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (2023): DreamWorks c'mon! What happened between 2022 and 2023!? Y'all was on a roll and then this! What even was this dumpster fire supposed to be?!? Not good I'll say that! 1.5/5 ⭐️s

7.) Fast X (2023): My gods! Can this series fucking DIE already!? Sheesh! It wasn't worth it seeing it in theaters. Ok the action scenes were okay enough. 2/5 ⭐️s

6.) Saw X (2023): Why? Why does this exist? Why did we get this the same day we got Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie? Just all questions and 0 answers. The gore was over the top even for this series! 3/5⭐️s (don't get used to this rating on this list. It's only because I still LIKE the Saw series).

5.) Zoey 102 (2023): I mean I'm all for nostalgia, but who the hell asked for this!? Man was this one bad! Is it any wonder this was exclusive to streaming? The cast tried their...okayist at what weak script they were given. I honestly just didn't hate it nor did I like it at all. 2.5/5 ⭐️s

4.) The Haunted Mansion (2023): Yeah I had to specify which version of this movie I intended. This made the one from 2003 look like a HIGH-END GALLERY piece! I'm still in shock with how bad this one was...I already didn't have high expectations for it, but DAMN! 1.5/⭐️s

3.) The Flash (2023): Need I say more for this one? Controversies aside (again) this was definitely the worst thing DC has released this year! The pacing was horrible! The plot was almost unfollow-able. The "gratituidous" cameos were WAY too short (almost blink and you'll miss)! Need I go on? 1/5 ⭐️s

2.) Wish (2023): Man for a 100th anniversary, Disney hasn't had the greatest year. Like seriously. This almost generic feeling "Princess" movie lacked the Disney spirit in an entirely impossible way. Hell even Disney/Pixar's Elemental was better! And that one sucked! But not enough to make this list. 0/5 ⭐️s

Ironically I don't have any honorable mentions--

Leave the World Behind (2023): Yeah I lied I absolutely had a dishonorable mention this year. I just watched this on Netflix yesterday and while I understood the basic plot, that movie confused the hell outta me within the first half hour! I'm getting sick and tired of these apocalypse movies. 0.001/5⭐️s

And Finally, the moment we've been waiting for:

1.) Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023): Did we have to start the year so BAD?! I understand that the 1926 story went into the public domain in January 2023, but that was NO excuse for this GODS AWFUL "horror" film! What even was that plot? The costumes were cheap and terrible! The acting (I'm trying to not bash on acting too much, purely because I understand the struggle that actors and writers this year especially went through. I empathize with them and the strikes this year made a difference, whether big or small, they made their demands heard) was horrifying! Like what the shit was this movie!?!? -10/5 ⭐️s

Well that's all for the WORST films of 2023! Stay tuned for the follow up with the BEST movies of 2023!

That is all,
-PH27

I, for one, think that “WISH” is severely underrated, and that the hate for it is hardly justifiable.

On that note, I shall leave you with your opinion.

Of course.

But, if you want to see something that’s a true celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary, then I highly recommend “Once Upon a Studio”. That Disney short is amazing beyond compare.

I've watched it multiple times! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience!!
