Happy Anniversary

So today is actually a pretty special day for me. Today marks the one year anniversary of me on a whim deciding to watch the first Equestria Girls with my girlfriend and gaining an incurable case of Pony Brainrot.

It started off as me being like "oh this is kind of goofy lol but the characters are cute" and then as I kept watching I found myself getting more and more invested and then THIS happened:

And that Changed Everything. I was like *Danny Devito voice* oh my god I get it, I get why my gf is so obsessed with this character I need to watch the rest I NEED to know what happens next to her!

Like....it sounds silly to say but, doing that changed my life lol. I wouldn't have gotten back into writing if it wasn't for watching EQG1, i wouldn't have made a ton of new amazing friends in the writing community and while it's something we've been wanting to do for ages anyways bonding and getting even closer over Pony was the final push me and my GF needed for me to finally fly over and visit her earlier this year and we're already making plans for me to do it again soon and I'm sooooooo excited.

Being involved with that show and the community has also done a lot to just make me happier, more bubbly, more girly even~ And it reawakened a lot of my creative passions, I'm so grateful I took a chance on this silly high school spin off of a horse cartoon cause it's now Everything to me.

I'm currently working on two HUGE stories with my gf (the incredibly talented Avery Day who's fics you absolutely should check out if you haven't already) and I can't say much about them right now but, I'm really proud of the work we've put into them so far, trust me they're going to be incredible. 2024 is going to be a major year writing wise for us and I'm sooooooo excited to show them off to y'all sometime in the near future.

Anywho, uh, thanks for reading if you did! Thank you to everyone who read my fic Rarity's Special Request I'm very proud of it and it received a much warmer reception than I thought considering the subject matter lol. Hope you all have a good holiday and I'll be seeing you all into next year!
