I've been really excited because we are approaching the end of every individual mane 6's story! Even if this may not have been my most successful story stats-wise, it's the one I've enjoyed writing the most. I'm so happy with the current result, and I hope I won't disappoint! Next chapter, we're back in the universe Rainbow Dash's landed in, and as a small tease, here are the first few lines of
Suddenly wanted to talk about it, but I know someone who uses a catchphrase in real life. Like, every time he writes something, he puts his catchphrase at the end. Am I the only one who thinks it's absolutely based?
I've got 2 stories I have to finish, but I was thinking of doing a murder mystery after they're done. It would be pretty gory, though. Also not sure yet if I'll do it, but I got some nice ideas.
I like writing romance, but I'm kinda bummed I don't write more comedy. I love comedy and love writing it, but I don't think I'm very good at it. Anyone else feels this way?
First of all, I have to disagree with you, I think you are able to write comedy quite well, you have a number of stories that reflect that fact, like We Are Not Dating! or one of my favorite stories on this site with Third Wheel Trouble. Nevertheless, I can understand if you have a hard time writing comedy. While a story forms easily enough in one's mind it's not easy to make it comedic. It is probably easier for short stories that are centered around one joke, building up to it and delivering in the end, but especially incorporating comedy into a longer story is a challenge.
5750236 Thank you, and yes, that is exactly how I feel; it's always funnier in my mind, then I don't like it once I write it down. I also really love absurd comedy, and characters either going over the top or just acting the opposite way they would. But I'm afraid I either wouldn't do it right, or people wouldn't like it. Can't know until I try though
5750243 I'd say just go for it and try it out. Absurd comedy like Monty Python is pretty popular after all and I think so far your ventures into comedy have turned out more just than quite alright . And if it takes a little longer to write, well that's just the way it is then.
Though thanks to talking about Monty Python, I've now got the image stuck in my head of Discord sitting on the sideline and clapping two coconut halves together whenever a pony is galloping somewhere .

I will definitely try, thank you. Also you brought me back nice memories with Monty Python
