PLEASE, DON'T BE SCARED BY THE LENGTH OF THE BLOG! (just in case)
Anyway, straight to the point...
I want yall to choose the team of ppl that will be featured in my new upcoming story. I will write down their code names down below, along with a small description of their abilities. The team may contain up to 5 members. However, due to some abilities being way too OP, they will use up more slots than other abilities... With some of them even being removed completely!
Survivalist:
Abilities: None.
Passive: He has no special abilities, apart from being generally good at anything. (1 slot)
Lazarus:
Abilities: He is able to temporarily cure any type of an injury. Literally.
Passive: Lazarus may be weak physically, but his medical knowledge knows absolutely no bounds. (1 slot)
Zealot:
Abilities: He is able to summon a mobile/stationary barrier. While being stationary, the shield is able to activate it's turret, shooting anything hostile in it's line of sight
Passive: Being the protector of the whole team, Zealot has an extreme endurance, earning title 'The Wall' (1 slot)
Prophet:
Abilities: He is able to 'mark' and 'see' anything using his darts and pad. After throwing the dart, an area will be scanned, to find hostile, items and basically anything. The same thing can be done with the pad.
Passive: Being one of the greatest scouts, Prophet is an extremely mobile unit, who can also professionally scavenge. Though, he is pretty bad at using anything he finds. (1 slot)
Sovereign: (Blocked)
Mindlayer: (Blocked)
Apostle:
Abilities: He is able to summon a, so called, 'Shadow Hunter' to his aid. Basically, it's a powerfull creature, thay wields a scythe and will obey any orders from it's creator. Apostle can also control his own flesh, turning it into a deadly blade, though he for both abilities he has to pay with his blood.
Passive: Even though Apostle is one of the most experienced agents, the only positive ability that he has is resistance to mind control. After all, he has dem devils in his head. (2 slots)
Vagabond:
Abilities: While other agents prefer to use technology, he wields the blade named 'Kira'. Every time the blade gets a taste of blood, Vagabond gains a great boost in his speed. Though, he can also convert those to heal himself.
Passive: Apart from being able to master any vlose combat weapon, after killing or injuring the enemy, Vagabond also gains a stack of a speedboost called 'Dog Tag'. He looses those whenever he gets hit though. (1 slot)
Arbiter:
Abilities: Wielding augmentation called 'Knucklebomb', Arbiter has an ability to shoot an explosive shell. He is also able to use it as an improvised mobility tool, since his body has been modified to be able to take explosive damage.
Passive: Resistance to any type of explosives... And alcohol. (1 slot)
Immolator:
Abilities: He wields a Flamer Unit 'CHAOS'. As the name suggests, it's a small flamethrower, located in his right arm. But don't let it's size fool you. Apart from simply burning anything in Immolator's way, it's also able to create a burning explosion around the user.
Passive: He is immune to any type of fire or heat. Though, if his Flame Unit overheats, Immolator will be immolated by his own weapon. (1 slot)
Executioner:
Abilities: Executioner has a pair of the Night Vision goggles. Though, they are not simply for the show. Those goggles mark any type of the living form in front of the user. However, it's also able to empower Executioner, after he kills the marked enemy.
Passive: All in all, Executioner is simply another type of Prophet, which is more focused on fighting, rather than scouting. (1 slot)
Drifter:
Abilities: Drifter is mounted with two devices, the 'Anchor', smoke bombs and an arm blade called 'Dread'. The sharp blade itself is a pretty deadly weapon. However, if combined with the smokes, which by the way turn himself and his allies temporarily invisible, the chances of the enemy staying alive drop to nearly 0 percent.
Not only that, but Drifter is also able to set an 'Anchor' anywhere. Whenever necessary, the user will be able to teleport back to the marked location.
Passive: He is a professional assassin, but that's pretty much it. (2 slots)
Berserker:
Abilities: He has an ability to inject himself with the 'Calamity Serum', which enraged the user upon usage. It gives an extreme buff in strength, as well as making the user ignore any type of pain, pushing their limits. The only way to keep this effect, if by satisfying the thirst for violence. After the effect ends however, the user becomes much more weaker for some time. The serum can be used in this state, but it obviously will hurt the user.
Passive: As the name suggests, Berserker is furious and strong himself, even without using the serum. Though, when out of the fight, he is a pretty nice guy. (1 slot)
Artillerist:
Ability: He has a... GUN WITH ONE BULLET ...that can somehow reload itself, even if there is no ammo. After hitting the target with the said bullet, Artillerist gains enhanced reflexes and a (cool) glowing purple eye.
Passive: He is REALLY good with firearms. And he always know when It's high noon... (1 slot)
Riskrunner:
Abilities: Basically, an Artillerist... But with a very, VERY big gun!.. And without the (cool) purple eye.
Passive: His cannon becomes more accurate, the longer he shoots it. (1 slot)
Hivemind: (Blocked)
Blitzer:
Abilities: He has one of the deadliest weapons in the squad - Explosives. To be more precise, those are the airburst bombs, that can stick to any surface (including living beings).
Passive: Obviously, Blitzer's explosives are dangerous for everyone, including himself and his team. (1 slot)
Tickspider: (Blocked)
Crosslink:
Abilities: He is able to deploy several hidden knives, that are connected with each other via metal wires. If an enemy crosses one of those, they will be trapped and start bleeding. The user can bring the knives back with the extremely precise magnet, if they trigger the switch. If any enemy is in the way of the knives however, they will damage the said target.
Passive: Crosslink is extremely flexible and athletic, allowing him to not only swiftly move around, but also move on his own traps (even jumping on them!) without being damaged. (2 slots)
To choose the team, simply write the Agnet's nicknames in the comments, and the combination which gets the most likes (or the only one) will be used in the story!
Now, onto the news.
To put it simple, it's a bit hard for me to continue with 'When life gives you EXP', so I will work a bit less on that. Don't worry though, I'm not planning to put it on hiatus any time soon! This is just the heads up.
Well, I guess this is pretty much it. I really hope to deal with stuff irl and focus more on the stories here.

Lazarus and Berserker would be a good combo. (I think) hmm. And Artillerist and also Riskrunner. And for the last one? uh...Survivalist because why not?
