Hey all, so the old title kinda sucked...

Heya to the like 2 people who actually care,

First off, I was way overly confident that the name "Legions of Cooled Steam" would actually stick, I put it into the last blog post. That was stupid. It's a horrible name. Like, cringeworthy bad.

Thus I'm not going to fully commit to a title till I get that initial set of 4 chapters out, but rest assured I do have a better one picked out now.

Speaking of, where are those first 4 chapters? Turns out, after reflecting on a rather off feeling I was having, I realized my world building was very weak. As of this moment, I've just drafted a timeline to flesh out history and culture and... yeah, I pretty much have to rewrite the first chapter. It kind of makes sense, since when I first wrote that chapter I only had a vague idea of my world and was going off of a general vibe. Turns out, by chapter 4 that vagueness wrote me into a deep corner. Much of the other two chapters will stay intact, but chapter 1 needs major reworking and chapter 4 might just need to be restarted more or less from scratch.

It's frustrating to feel like I've been grinding my gears and doing nothing for a few weeks, but between this pretty critical issue and the stress around travelling to my first ever con, I suppose it's been warranted.

Well, with that, time to write chapter 1, I guess.
