An Important Question · 12:07am Dec 19th, 2012
Hey guys, I am still around and all. Chapter Four is in the works, have no worries! I just ran across a bump in the road that grew into a full-sized case of writer's block. But, thanks to my beta, the lovely Copy Cat, I have rewritten the problem section and am almost ready to finish off the chapter!
And that problem brings me to my question. You might have noticed that I have an odd writing style in Shadow. I call it 'perspective-based-third-person'. How is this different from normal third person? Because I abuse the reader's perspective like filmmakers abuse camera angles. A good example of this is the end of the last chapter, where I used the flow of conversation to make you think Eclipse was talking, when Pinkie was.
So my question is: What do you guys, the readers, think of this style? I know it's caused some confusion before, like the party preparation scene in the Prologue. In my defense, though, that scene was supposed to be chaotic. So, yeah, what do you think of it?
It's neat.
You should keep it up.

Thank you! It's good to know that my writing style isn't frustrating to read.
