A remake of -COMM- Spike and Rainbow Dash (Storm Kingdom): Rainbow and Spike still maintained their old personality, perspective, and point of view. This takes place before Spike grows up as a teen dragon.

After the crystals of light embedded the others around the mane four's right eye, Rainbow Dash was next as she was kept still by magic chains as crystal fragments were embedded around her right eye before they settled. Then, Rainbow Dash turned to see Spike screaming in agony as the crystals of light pierced and embedded into his forehead, but he found relief once the crystal had fully settled. Despite the magic chains holding her still, Rainbow Dash grabs Spike and hugs him as he hugs her back. At the barracks changing room Rainbow Dash gets dressed into her Air Unit trainer bodysuit and styles her hair to her Storm Kingdom hairstyle putting on her iron shoes and light chest armor. So, she took Spike to get him dressed into his bodysuit and check that it fits perfectly. After that, Spike put on his face mask and sat down to enjoy each other company. Rainbow Dash had a comforting talk with Spike, reassuring him everything would be alright. She hugged him tightly, and Spike promised to do it for Twilight's sake.
