I'm actually puttting something on (virtual) paper

I have about 7 concepts that I have been throwing around in my head. Unfortunatly, I'm a huge procratinator, and I've been milling these stories in my mind for about seven years.

Who Opaleen is (which is being destroyed chapter four - oh, well; this wasn't even head canon, so I'll still get to writing this at some point)

The Prodigle Pony - Sunset's return to Equestria (which was destroyed by "Forgotten Friendship", which I still think is the best Equestria Girls special)

The consequences of Starswirll sweeping ancient problems Equestria had under the preverbial rug, i.e. the EQG dimension

Yet another story of a man becoming Flurry Heart

A "The Great Gatsby" inspired story ++++++

If Shakespeare was a pony (adapting "A Midsummer's Night Dream" to be relavent in Equestria) - this one is most vexing, because I don't want to do a direct lift of the play, and having to write it in pros form. Much of Shakespeare 's comedy is in the languange, and I;m not going to write this in Iambic Pentameter. I may do a rendention of "Taming of the Shrew" staring Diamond Tiarra.

***** This is the one I'm actually actively penning right now. I wrote the psalm, but it was only 128 words. This is way shy of the minimum of 1000, sho I'm writing the story of it's creation. The Psalm is about the four princesses (no Flurry Heart in this one), and I'm doing the story in five parts. Four parts for each of the princesses, and the fith one where everything comes together,.

++++++ I wanted to get away from Ponyville and Canterlot for this, and not really have any of the alicorns involved with this. The thing is "The Great Gatsby" is about the excess and loss of innocens of the 1920's in America. At least as a backdrop. It is really a story of an ordinary man being infatchuated with the "high life". I'm trying to think of a pony culture that would allow my character to be simular to Gatsby that would make an interesting story. Seeing as East and West Egg on Long Island are fictional, I don't see why it couldn't be set in a simular place. It's more of the culture for which I'm having trouble setting context.

Last note - I'd like to change my avatar from the base mare to a unicorn stallion with an azure coat, and a older ham radio as a cuiie mark. Or just a bust to replace the generic default icon And I don't want to do something pony creator. May be I'll fir up Ink Scape or GIMP and try my hand creatomg some kind of monstrocity.
