Hello my little shimmerings! Here’s a little sneak peek of the upcoming sci-fi horror project - Friendship is Magic: Dino Crisis. The story is, of course, written by me and co written by Bit-By-Bit Studio whom I am collaborating with. Hope you all enjoy!
Her world blurred as she charged mindlessly passed an endless expanse of trees. Cooper's screams echoed behind her, and the Tyrannosaurus rex let out a tremendous bellow. The behemoth crashed through the jungle, causing branches to crack and snap beneath its bulk. Each methodic footstep made the floor shake, intensifying the already overwhelming situation. It was a truly terrifying experience, one that left Bon-bon feeling utterly helpless.
Bon-bon and Cooper found themselves in a state of great distress. Their natural instincts had taken over, leaving them with no choice but to flee. Fighting or hiding was deemed futile, and so they resorted to running. As they ran, they became increasingly disoriented and lost, straying far from their intended destination. Despite Cooper's reluctance to look back, he could sense the presence of the dinosaur lurking behind them.
Bon-bon, on the other hand, could not resist the urge to glance over her shoulder. What she saw caused her stomach to plummet and her eyes to widen in terror. The T. rex was closing in on them with alarming ease. In a matter of mere steps, it would have either of them in its jaws. The situation was dire, and the pair knew that they had to act quickly if they were to have any hope of survival.
The T. rex roared with seismic force as it barreled after them through the forest. The rising humidity smothered the duo, their legs bowed, they have been running for felt like an eternity and their bodies were failing them. The duo sprinted through the forest, jumped over logs and rocks. Their vision’s pulse by their throbbing heart-beats. They were intoxicated by their adrenaline.
Bon-bon had never exerted herself so vigorously in her entire existence, not since the moment she managed to evade a ravenous Cragadile. The recollection of the creature's menacing growl, the sound of its jaws snapping shut, and the thunderous footfalls that ensued still caused her distress to this day. However, the current situation was far more dire, a hundred times more perilous!
With his keen eyesight Cooper perceived the conclusion of the forest a few meters beyond a cluster of trees. He came to a halt at the edge of a precipice, and Bon-bon stumbled alongside him, her heart pounding with trepidation. Together they peered over the edge and the sight that greeted them was nothing short of breathtaking. The vast expanse of the ocean lay before them, its waves crashing against the rocks below, nearly sixty feet beneath their feet.
“We have to jump!” Bon-bon shouted. Cooper hesitated.
The ferocious howl of the Tyrannosaurus reached their ears, causing them to turn their heads towards the end of the forest where the bushes were being smashed through. The sight that met their eyes was that of the Tyrannosaurus, with its jaws spread wide, and its teeth glinting in the moonlight.
Subsequently, Bon-bon and Cooper looked back down at the ocean below and decided to leap off the cliff. As they descended, the duo screamed in terror as gravity wrenched them down. Bon-bon caught a glimpse of the night sky as she fell, the moon shone bright and the stars twinkled above her.
