So... WHAT WAS THAT????
I cannot describe how UPSET I am right now, and I'm not even a big basketball fan! But the way that the game was reffed was UNBELIEVABLY AWFUL. Like, I didn't even know it was POSSIBLE to be THAT BAD at your job.
And giving Catlin Clark a technical for MOVING THE FREAKING BALL made NO SENSE.
That game was freaking rigged. There is no other way to describe what happened. Iowa deserved to have a fair shot at winning, but the refs made sure that would never happen. So many unfair fouls got called, things that should have been fouled didn't get called, and Angel Reese spent the entire postgame show rubbing her 'victory' in Catlin's face. It was honestly quite disheartening and I hope that the NCAA learns its lesson to never let those refs step foot on a court again.
Here's to a solid season next year... WITHOUT any interference. Go Hawkeyes!
