I gotta say it

I don't care what your thoughts are on Hogwarts Legacy, I personally won't be playing it anytime soon. But you gotta admit it, the boycott is an utter failure and resulted in nothing but lies and harassment of innocent people. It's like folks were actively seeking out those who played the game to harass them because they can't stand the fact someone is playing a game (Which was not connected to ROwling) they don't like.

Yeah, I gotta say this whole thing was really stupid. When was the last time a boycott of a video game worked? The "activists" done far more harm to their cause than good. I swear that to me, a transwoman, one of the greatest threats aside from outright transphobia is the woke mob on Twitter. I even got called a pick me transwoman. Their beef is with Rowling, yet they targeted anyone who played the game. Even I wasn't safe at least when I engaged with these people (not on Twitter) to explain they're not helping transgender people acting this way. But nope, they dug deeper and deeper. Just yet another reason I feel like I'm not part of the mainstream transgender community. All this push back over a video game. They can cry "Rowling profits from this!" all they want, but people are going to see and remember the harassment and bullying.
