Why hardly any love for Megan these days

First of all, I decided to make a blog entry about so that I don't get ridiculed for saying this in the actual fanfic or even any other posts in the other groups about this. After seeing who's in the cast for the latest fanfic known as 40 years, I feel very disappointed that Megan will once again be getting a snub or possibly not be making a real appearance. I can understand that there are those who feel that I have an obsession with her, but when you look at it from my perspective, you might find something different. Maybe if some of you spent some time watching G1, then you might see what it was like for such ponies to having a human companion such as her. Other times I just wish there would have been an actual return for her, but knowing who is in charge, it will most likely never happen. Whenever I show that screencap with her in that fire and feeling as if she is crying, it's my way of showing how little love there is for her. Another thing is that if the claim that if that said fire incinerates her, she most likely wouldn't be missed. In a way, she was supposed to go down with the ship when G1 ended. If not for hardcore fans reviving her in fanfiction and fanarts even with characters not from the show she was in, Megan would have been left down the memory hole. More importantly, I'm probably one of the few who really did think it was a missed opportunity to not have her rebooted for G4. Overall, I might be obsessed with wanting her, but maybe it takes a superfan on how to make it work. Still, I wish it would have been nice if at least the crossover comic that was known as MLP Generations gave her a real appearance and I even bought all the issues with such anticipation, but knowing how it was going, it was once again too good to be true when the most she even got was just mentioned in passing. I hope that after hearing this, many of you won't think negatively about me. In the near future, I do plan on doing some standalone fanfics and one of them would include what I call a lost introduction, but I won't say too much, because I don't want to give anything away. Nonetheless, I really do wish there was more love for Megan these days especially for being the franchise's first protagonist not to mention that there should be a special day dedicated to her just like some other characters. Bottom line, I feel that it would be wrong to do a 40-year celebration for MLP while excluding her, but that's mostly me saying that.
