Well, got another semester starting on the 23rd. Only 12 units this time, so hopefully it won't be as draining as last semester was, but it'll still be a full-time load.
Also, is it natural for syllabi to cause stress or frustration in their readers, or do I need to try to adjust my attitude? Out of my 3 classes that have published syllabi, only 2 haven't caused my eye to vaguely twitch in aggravation at at least one point. I know things are going to feel better after I actually start the classes, but I would prefer not feeling this bitter at all.
On a related note, does anyone have any advice for dealing with frustration? Lately, it feels like I've gotten less capable at coping with it, even in situations where I know it's not important (I will neither confirm nor deny recently spending the minutes in bed before falling asleep dwelling on a loss in an overcomplicated game of Solitaire). It's making me feel childish, and not in a good way.
