I think the scariest thing about the prospect of having kids in the future won't be feeding or providing for them, but raising them up in a society where alcoholism, drug abuse, wanton violence, sheer idiocy, a severely-distorted sex culture, and the worst of all, "political correctness", reign supreme.
If you think it's bad now, it will only get worse from here, and that's what scares me the most.
