Just thought I'd let you all know how the newest chapter is coming along. In the past week, the word count for the chapter has gone from 860 words to 2,024 and I'm still not done yet. My goal though is to get the next chapter done, polished, and submitted before my break is over.

I would estimate that the chapter is about 70% done, just a little while longer and it'll be uploaded.

Well, I had a feeling this would happen, but I'm going to have to put off writing for a while for two reasons. First, fall semester started two weeks ago for me and I'm taking college level Anatomy and Physiology so that's going to require a good amount of attention from me. Second, the reason why I haven't been able to generate any updates is that unlike the first 3 chapters, which were all mapped out, the ideas that I have for future chapters aren't outlined, so I'm basically writing blind.

Well then, I did not anticipate my fic to gain so many favorites within a few days. I honestly only expected maybe 20 faves at most. That being said, I am going to be putting the brakes on "Let Me Dry Your Tears" to help smooth out any issues with the future chapters that I have planned. This is so that I can find a good writing voice and stick to it for the rest of the fic. I already have some ideas for chapters, it's just the process of writing them that will take a while.

Apparently, according to my writing class prof, I'm a better writer than what I give myself credit to. As a result, that spurred up an idea to finally start writing. I've had some ideas for a couple of stories and I decided to make them a reality. So between work, I am going to write a fic as a summer project. As of now, I am working on compiling and organizing some ideas into a plotline.
