Moving right along, then. It's funny (and slightly scary) story time! Weird stuff going down in SD these days...
The only thing I hate about writing is that I can't do it while doing something else I love: listening to music so good that it feels like the notes are making love to my auditory cortex. Whenever I write, listening to music with lyrics is too distracting, and instrumentals are usually so blase, or too mellow for me to feel pumped.
Prompt Roulette worked our awesome...ly? Ish? Screw it; it turned out wonderfully.
As I said, I selected the winner based on who posted closest to a predetermined time. That predetermined time was...

Alright, I admit it: I'm running low on juice here. I'm wrapping up the first draft of a story right now, and it should be ready for editing within about five days. But after that, I'm stumped. I've got lots of fun ideas, but nothing I'm feeling terribly motivated to write. However, I've seen some pretty hilarious results when people write based on prompts, so let's see what happens when I ask for some!
Hey, remember all those months ago when I posted about the White Box film? I know I haven't posted in a while, but the project isn't dead. Far from it, as a matter of fact. We've come incredibly far, and we're now within six weeks of the start of shooting. Here's what we've accomplished so far:
1) The script has been completed and approved by the author. Some changes may occur when we start shooting, but for the most part, it's locked in.
I just re-discovered this while screwing around on Youtube before work. Back in May of 2010, my friends and I started work on the choreography for a sci-fi short film called Reclamation. It's not Star Wars per se, but it includes the use of lightsabers (and some damn good rotoscoping, if we do say so ourselves!).
Surprise! There's one thing in particular that makes me ridiculously excited about Somewhen: it has a direct tie-in with I Might Have Been.

Hey, remember that slime ball Chris Langer? Well, when my mom saw all the work I was doing to spread the word about him, she chose to go to court rather than settle. And guess what? He dropped the suit.
Call it luck; call it fate; call it whatever the hell you want, but Chris Langer can no longer target us.
Well, after posting about W.O.M.P. and my general attempts at comedy, a number of you said that you prefer sadfics. After much thought, I realized I do as well (even though they destroy my soul to a point).
So I have a total of four email addresses still active from the various points in my life. The ones I used previously haven't been a big deal to me until recently. Since last week, I've received no fewer than ten emails alerting me to the fact that my email addresses were accessed from suspicious locations. Someone attempted to access my previous email address from Chile, Argentina and Colombia. I actually lost control of my primary address for several days before I was able to recover it. All
