What I do is that I separate all the characters into the fan bases that are well known, therefore why Pinkie isn't being shipped much with Spike in my new stories, so Stalight is usually in a Harem with Sunburst and Trixie and the CMC are a bit younger (according to the fan base I asked Spike is the oldest since he ages differently than the rest, so when I write and give them human features he is usually a little older than the girls) so I usually use them for other types of... ships "wink" "wink"
