I came up with the name because I wanted something that [sounded] clever and was about something I keep secret about myself. I decided I finally needed a not-bald avatar, and googled "Juxtapony". Apparently it's already a book! I took the cover image (thanks Amazon), and edited it up real quick so it represents my interest in the FF community better.

And that's how Equestria was made!

Writing a blog entry seems a little pointless because as a non-contributor, I'm no different than over 50% of the users on this site. Since before becoming a member here, I have started up three stories, but I don't really expect any of them to get any further than their current state. I thought maybe writing something that shows up on my wall admitting this defeat would encourage me to pursue other related endeavours, if not give writing them another try.
