The Department of Energy advises that skylight space in a room should equal no more than 5% of the floor space, maxing out at 15% for rooms that have no windows.You can expect to pay the following for these sized skylights:

• 25-inch by 41-inch: $325 to $650
• 25-inch by 57-inch: $350 to $850
• 49-inch by 49-inch: $550 to $2,200
