I find it weird why the discord is more active than on here. My friend haven't reply back to me yet. I hope he's doing ok. I am going to try messaging him on other sites he was on. Unless he is no longer here and might have moved on to another new site (like what he usually does before.....🤦😒)

its always nice to meet new people here! But I am really here to talk to my friend and just waiting for his reply now lmao. 👍

Does this site only allow fan fiction based on mlp or other tv shows and video games are welcome here? Let me know.

Hi there! Do you know me? When I first saw the notification that someone leave a message on my user page I thought it was my friend from this site lmao.

I joined this site before but I can't remember my old account. So I decided to make a new one with my new email since my old account was using a outdated email address I no longer use anymore (and lost access to it).

My friend's name is Monty Eggman, he was a member on Deviantart and he used to draw artwork of video game characters when he was a member there! I don't know if his name might sound familiar to you but he is a member on this site so maybe you might already know him!

We first met in 2007, on a website called Drunk Duck Comics. Its a website where people make comics of all kinds such as traditional hand drawn comics, sprite comics, and even web style comics! Monty made a few comics before with ms paint and he would publish them not only there but also on deviantart!

One of Monty's old comics was based on a Nintendo game I am still a very big fan of, very few Americans know this game, in fact most of his old comics and artwork are based on video games Im sure most Americans wouldn't know back then during a time when video game consoles used to be very strict with region locking, preventing fellow gamers who lack the knowledge to play imports on our local consoles (except for handhelds as most of them don't have a region lock feature until the 3DS). When I first saw his comic, I instantly recognized it! I thanked him so much for making it, I even leave my feedback there on drunk duck, telling him that his comic was really funny and creative! lmao.

I would always check back his Panel De Pon sprite comic every day for updates. Until 2010, something have changed him and I do not understand why. Monty used to be a completely different person earlier I believe. Judging by his amazing collection of sprite comics and traditional ms paint comics, he appeared to be quite a fan for video games not released overseas and besides from that, he made some original comics with characters I am not familiar of but I am sure he made those up himself. Now all of these comics I mentioned here come from 2007 and 2008. He suddenly stopped updating his comics in 2010 on both deviantart and drunk duck, leaving the panel de pon comic on a cliff hanger without explanation or if he really finished there. On his last page of the Panepon comic, he did say he will continue to make more. However, this was when he no longer updates again.

I send him a email about it and according to him, he lost interest to continue it and while he might not think his comic is as funny as I thought it is, his old work inspired me to come up with my own idea for a new Panel De Pon comic! (although I haven't made anything yet, I still have plans for it but not sure where to start from there yet).

Monty is a very nice guy! in fact, he used to send me all of his own custom made Panel De Pon sprites he made for his own sprite comic! I told him thanks very much for it. He send me these because I was the only one who always praised his old Panel De Pon comic and sending me these is like a gift to me for appreciating his wonderful Panel De Pon sprite comic! 😄

I used to make sprite comics back in 2003 but those were all just experiments and not complete ideas. I made my last and very short testing sprite strip somewhere in 2005 (or was that 2006? my memory is not perfect sorry about it lmao) using backgrounds from donkey kong country and sprites of the trainers from pokemon to test speech bubbles and adding sprites on a background for sprite comic testing. Nowadays, I am more busy with making Clickteam games but I still do comics with ms paint but without sprites as I thought drawing the characters directly is more fun and adds more details and easier to see their expressions on a closer perspective compared to limited 2D 16-bit lmao.

Keep in mind, I do not write stories here and my only reason for joining here is to talk to my friend Monty Eggman as he no longer reply to me on the sites he already left. He does have a email but he told me he hardly looks into his emails anymore. He can still reply to me when I message him on this site as he is more active here now. I am not a mlp fan, I am just a fellow Nintendo gamer thats all lmao. Hope you understand and thanks for letting me join your site! 👍😎

Best regards

Phil
