So, after a long Hiatus, I've finally gotten things (mostly) under control in my life enough to return to writing this story! So life, as it is so fond of doing, has reared its ugly head and is slowing down my efforts at rewriting the previous chapter and working on the next. As things are, I just need some time to stop and take the time to deal with things. This story will be continued, don't worry about that. But for now, there are things that require my attention that simply must be handled. Hopefully it won't take too terribly long, but I will finish this to its intended end.

So, after moving across the country, I'm finally settled in enough to begin writing again! I intend to finish the next chapter of MLP: Vampire Smiles sometime next week now that i'm settled. Minor spoiler, I intend to introduce the villain and pick up where things left off. The Mane six have Hargreaves backed into a corner, but realize he may not be so easily captured.
