I'm having a lot of fun with it, especially since it's turning out to be a good outlet for my love of all things space. The story posted is currently only Part 1, which is itself about 2/3rds done. On top of working on A Hogwarts Overtale, to scratch a Scifi itch I've been having, I've begun writing something I've long, long since wanted to do. And *le gasp* for once it isn't a crossover. The concept is very simple: group of ponies find a Starship long-abandoned on Equestria's world, they accidentally hit a few wrong buttons and are transported across the galaxy, fun space adventures ensue as they try to get home.

A Hogwarts Overtale won't be my only prequel to Sky Trek. In fact, I'm hoping to write a bunch of them in order to better set up the characters in the main fic and better establish the world. However, I'm curious as to what characters people would like me to delve into the most. If you have anyone in mind, post a comment and I'll take it into consideration.

I dun goofed and messed up the timeline of my Sky Trek universe more than I realized with Hogwarts Overtale, so I had to go back and make a few minor changes to Sunset's flashback to Hogwarts in Chapter 4 of Over Still Waters. In this revised version, Sunset is teaching Magitek part-time at Hogwarts and Hermione is a Ministry of Magic worker inspecting Sunset's work. I also changed a few things to make it clear that Sunset and Hermione were close friends. Not much else different about it.
