Okay,
So the family crisis isn't resolved, not by a long shot, but it's to a point where we can relax a bit.
I'll be taking my story off hiatus and start posting again. Hopefully I can get to a point where I can really get going in writing. I have a plan, I just need to remember the specifics. Fortunately I take copious notes as I write. Unfortunately those notes include abandoned ideas, alternative ideas that no longer work, general ideas, and parts that are much later in the story.

Still working to get things sorted with my family, just distracting myself by posting this.

Studies lead to questions, and questions need answers.
Unfortunately, Twilight's not looking in the right place for those answers just yet. But she does get a chance to broaden her horizons when a foreign monarch interrupts her meal and decides to bring the princess to a trade conference.
