Well, I just watched the Heartbreakers episode for the first time, and while I love the whole pie family I soo wanted to read some Marble/Mac shipping, so I looked for it, the episode fresh in my head.
I like your fic so much because it is exactly what you want to be happening in both Marble's and Mac's minds in the episode. They are so cute ! And, I love how they both would love to talk but can't manage to go for it because of how shy they are. It is pretty much canon to me. Plus, there were some details in the scenes from the episode that made me go verify in it if it really went that way and it did ! What strikes my mind is when Marble comes to the side of Mac before Maud's recital. I was thrilled to see that they were indeed close in the scene too, and that you gave a reason for that.
I talked a lot about how well the story is ancred in the show, but I like just as much the two last chapters which conclude the shipping. It is both simple and pleasing.
I am not used to writing reviews like that, but so nicely asked I couldn't refuse.
