You know what? I'm completely rewriting everything to do with BlackFlame and NightReign. It sucks. I also know that no one liked it with how many dislikes the Balancing the Scales series got so rewrite. I'm not happy with it. I'm writing for an audience of one: ME. There are stories that need to get out and this is how I do it.

I have come to the realization that I want to do a series. I'll call it Balancing the Scales. Nexus, King of Darkness and NightReign in that order. The series will follow this premise. Nexus will be the creation of Equestria and BlackFlame's Tale as he works to balance Order and Chaos. King of Darkness will be Sombra's tale works to balance Light and Dark. NightReign will be NightReign's tale as he works to keep the elements of harmony in check. There may be more later but im not too sure.

Hey guys. I’m sorry I wasn’t updating my stories. Supreme writers block got in the way but I have ideas now and you can expect a new story soon.

I've been thinking about this for a while now. I have nowhere to go with Nexus and something has been pointed out to me. King BlackFlame as he was written was one hell of a Gary Stu so I'll be removing Nexus. It won't get a rewrite but if you want to see BlackFlame again look for him in my new story Whitewing Blackflame. He will be nerfed somewhat. He will also fill more of an advisory/guide/guardian role.

Changed my name to KingChaos because ChaosMane just sounds idiotic.

I've decided to take a bit of a break from Nexus. I will return to it but for now it will be marked as On Hiatus. Don't worry though I'm not going anywhere. I've got another story in the works for you and it has to do with the pony in my avatar.
