Well, uh, I haven't really gotten anything done since finishing the rewrite. No excuses on my part besides laziness. I don't know, maybe I needed it -- the beginning part of Chapter 7 has been kicking my ass, anyways, so perhaps having taken some time off of thinking about Flickers will let me get a fresher perspective on things.

Most of everything is done as far as the rewrite goes. Every chapter has been edited, but I still hold concerns over the consistency of the writing style between chapters, a kind of issue that I'm finding more than a bit difficult to pinpoint and amend.

Irregardless (idc if that's not a word it sounds cooler than 'regardless' fite me irl,) I've taken a "break" of sorts from the whole rewrite thing and practically finished the draft of Chapter 7.

I just realized that Chapter 6 has a bit of a plothole where Pathfinder would've easily been able to fly away from the scout droids. I mean, I guess the droids can fly as well, but the fact that he doesn't even consider flying away as an option is a bit questionable. At any rate, good thing I caught it before starting the rewrite. Should give me ample time to figure out a way to fix it.

As stated in a previous blog post, I will be taking the time to rethink my plans for Flickers. To that end, this will involve revisiting certain episodes of the show, gathering ideas and suggestions from editors as well as myself, organizing such ideas, and then finally planning out the story based on them.
