This is largely inspired by, of all things, character creation for a pony based D&D game. While working on my characters backstory, I also ended up developing the history for his hometown. Which led to developing a headcanon for the early days of Equestria's founding, especially for earth ponies. I have a lot of time for thinking at my job.

I have just finished the latest title in the Legend of Zelda series, A Link Between Worlds. The game is a sequel, of sorts, to the SNES classic A Link to the Past, (ALttP) which it should be noted is, in my opinion, the finest made Zelda game in the series, just ahead of Ocarina of Time.
