Back in the middle of September, I had this idea while I was at work for a Lyra x human clopfic. Thankfully I wasn't in any position to write, because it eventually blossomed into a full-on romance story instead of just clop. My mind keeps drifting back to it and I see scenes in my head; one of them is really heartwarming. I even have a song in mind for that particular scene. Hell, I have an entire band in mind for the whole story!

I can't keep lying anymore. I just can't write this story. I'm not big on AppleDash anymore, so that kills my motivation to work on it. For those who care, the image below is what originally inspired Apples & Rainbows. I scratched out the death and went for a generic shipping approach.

I honestly don't understand why my crappy Apple Bloom story got so much attention. I'm ashamed to have ever written it.

I know it's bad form to question anyone's interest in something because it's basically insulting them, but seriously...

Sad(?) story about Vinyl and Octavia, based on a couple of songs. Hopefully it turns out decently. Been wanting to write this for months.

So I was at work last week and came up with an awesome story idea. Then a few days after that, I saw that it was National Pony Writing Month again. Part of me wants to try submitting to it, while the other part keeps saying "don't do it, you suck" as it always does. Even if I don't submit to the contest, I'll likely end up jotting this story down eventually* anyway.

It'd be a crossover with the Warcraft universe. I just have to wonder if anybody cares.

... but I'm rewriting Apples & Rainbows. Yes, again, and I sincerely apologize. I'm liking the way it's turning out, though, and I'm going to finish the story first this time and then upload it. No gaping holes in the update flow this time, and you'll finally get to see the end.

I've been in a rut lately regarding motivation to write. But it seems that every time I get the motivation back, it isn't to work on any of my existing stories! I've got Apples and Rainbows getting near its climax, and I need to get the first chapter of The Fruits of Friendship rolling. Why does my brain want to start another story!? Argh!
