I'm going to be completely and utterly honest with you guys here: I really do not give a crap about whether or not Derpy gets changed or removed. Yes, I understand that she is probably one of the most beloved of all the background ponies and that they don't want to see her removed. But the show isn't about Derpy, it's about the Mane 6. Writing angry letters to Hasbro isn't going to help at all.

Frankly, even I didn't like the way she was portrayed in the episode.

Bronies can be real hypocritical bastards at times. They go on and on and on about love and tolerance when the haters call them out. But when someone writes or draws something that isn't part of the fanon (like say, making Lyra and Bon-Bon straight [which they have always been, I might add]), they lash out at that person, saying that that person is wrong and that their fanon is right, no matter what.
