Fun Fact of the Day: Three years ago today, I spent the evening not at a Halloween party, but at the library on my then-college campus. I had an essay to write, and it was originally going to be about the evolution of bowling balls, but I couldn't find anything in an actual book about that topic, so I made a last-minute change of topic and wrote about Franklin D. Roosevelt's role in WWII, instead.

Fun Fact of the Day: Halloween begins in a little over 3 hours and I still don't know if I'm dressing up or not. I figured I would have made that decision by now.

Fun Fact of the Day: Next Friday, a new booster set for Yu-Gi-Oh! will be released, and it contains a card with one of the most hilarious names of all time that I've ever seen. It's name is "Toadally Awesome". Yes, you read that correctly. There are no typos. That's its actual name. No adjectives. Nothing. That's it.

Fun Fact of the Day: The sunroof on my car does not work. Some time ago, the drainage system on the sunroof's track got clogged with debris, and thus rainwater ended up going elsewhere, that elsewhere being the foot area of the back right seat. My mechanic fixed the problem, but he said I either had to get a new track altogether or he could disconnect the motor to the sunroof itself for a much lower price, and I opted for the latter.

Fun Fact of the Day: Tomorrow night, Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois, will host its first World Series game in 71 years. The last time it did so was in the 1945 World Series, a series which the Cubs ultimately lost to the Detroit Tigers.

Fun Fact of the Day: I have a certain deck of cards that has gone with me from coast to coast. Literally. It's gone with me to places like San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, and pretty much everywhere in-between. In fact, I'm looking at that very deck of cards out of the corner of my eye to the right of my computer screen as I'm writing this (for the most part).
