This is that artwork that FoxinShadow was working on that I mentioned a few days ago. And yes, it's canon to my Mirrorverse.

So I just saw this piece by FoxInShadow;

The man is amazing, that's for sure. I'm in line for him to do some stuff with Sky and Cloud Runner, so after seeing this... I'm psyched!
On another note, bar the horn this is almost exactly how I think of Sombra within the Mirrorverse. Just sayin'....

I made some changes to the logo for the Northern Guard... Well, more like massive overhaul. Just a simple compass rose. Expect a similar overhaul for the Blaze Squadron logo some time in the future. See below;

Alright, here's how things stand in the progress department;
-The Long Road is currently standing at three chapters in length, with the fourth on the way. At the moment, finished work stands at 15.5k words.
-I'm going to draw up the plans for Broken Mirror Part II. I already have a good idea on what I'm going to do with it, but I want to put it on paper and organize it.
-The Cover that I commissioned Pia to do is almost done. It'll be used as Part II's cover.

Alright, I should've done this sooner, but I've made some decisions regarding my stories. First off, the writing style. I'm settling what I've been using in the recent parts of The Northern Guard. So here's my deal with Cloud. Since I introduced him in Broken Mirror, I've though of him as a survivor. Shot in the chest, falling off the side of a mountain and surviving, then getting a taste of the seedy world that his sister has been dealing with for years... He's had years to cope with the shakeup within his family and up until Canterlot he had done a good job of rebuilding himself, but he was always a bit damaged. Canterlot was the first domino to fall and from there he's seen worse.

So I might have lied about waiting to do more on Broken Mirror until I got the last few chapters of Northern Guard out of the way... I've been itching at the next chapter, so I'm about 2000 words in. I'm also told that the cover art will be done this month. Yay!

For starters, I thought the IDW storyline surrounding his reformation was pretty good... And offered a way to put some distance between the more halo-esque aspects of the universe to something a bit more shadowy. While he only was introduced at the very end of Shoulder to Lean On he'll be a catalyst that gets the ball rolling against De Witt, serve as Sky's crutch as the stress of that final engagement

As of now, my goal is to finish the Northern Guard, which as it sits only has four more chapters. After that it's knocking out what's left of Broken Mirror so I can move onto Class II, preferably with some input on mistakes or methods I can change to improve from Class I (I'll be honest, like's and dislikes don't do crap for me. I write because I want to write.).
