I made a song. · 5:06pm Dec 28th, 2014
Pay attention to me!
I have work tomorrow, and I probably wont be about on here in Christmas for pretty obvious Christmas related reasons, so this is merry Christmas I guess.
Eat things and get stuff.
Today I was doing some filing at work and I found out the company I work for ships to a company called Beauty Brass. Make of that what you will.
I have a tumblr now. Come and look at my shitty drawings if you feel like it.
Or not.
I have to go back to work at the factory this weeks, which sucks ass.
I still can't afford that Rickenbacker. Still sad times.
So, that black Fender Jaguar Special that you can see in that picture I took of all my guitars is gone.
RIP Jaguar, you were pretty okay.
The Jaguar is gone because I took it to a shop and traded it (and the Univox (which also wins the award for 'guitar I owned for the least amount of time)) for another guitar.
'What did you trade the Jaguar for?' I hear you cry in anticipation.
Well, I traded my Jaguar for a Jaguar.
Cunning business man, I am.
I have a new song in the works. I'm pretty proud of it, but it's not really like any of my other stuff. Not even my old Indie-folky stuff. It's not so much angsty, as so much melancholy. And I still even managed to work in some noise, and get a pretty nice bass sound out if a headset microphone (don't ask how, I think I broke physics for that). I'll link it here when it's done, which should be tomorrow, if not later this week.
Tomorrow I'm going to buy a cheap used Strat copy and ruin it, Sonic Youth style, with the intentions of getting Big Black noises out of it. I'm gonna get rid of the middle pickup, and the tone knobs, and then wire the bridge and neck pickups out of phase.
I saw Thurston Moore live last night, and it was great. I even got to meet Steve Shelley!
Amazing
