I got to thinking back. Winter rap-up. The Running of the leaves. The Earth Ponies are the four season keepers.
Earth ponies = season
Pegasus Ponies = weather
Unicorns = general magic.
Alicorns = Sun and Moon phases

Question: You are given three clues to hind someplace in Equestria. Where would you hide the clues and why in that spot?

I have see in a number of pictures and in the MLP show, somthing that looks like a knight from a chess game.
What is the deal? Are they bust of grate ponies? Are they just something ponies like to have?
