So I'm deciding to post updates to Ten Days in a new way. Taking some sound advice from a trusted source, I'm going to post each day as two updates: the AM section, going from waking up to lunchtime, and PM, after lunch to sleep. Hopefully this will drive my desire to write, and for people to read the updates in smaller chunks instead of giant walls of text.

Despite being sick and miserable and tired, I'm pushing to finishing this chapter of Ten Days tonight. Already 9k words in and only 2/3 done. I wonder if all of my updates for this story will be this long. I hope so. I have quite a story to tell. I've been brainstorming a lot recently and... I don't want to give anything away. So I'll just have to keep my mouth shut.

Wrestling my muse into submission. Working on the next chapter of Ten Days at the moment, and planning on organizing one of my older TCB stories and posting it here: Ring of Fire.

So I'm neck deep in a 19 credit Engineering program. This translates to very very little free time. This combined with my recent lack of motivation to write hasn't helped my productivity. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to put Ten Days on hold for a while. I'll try to hammer out some writing over weekends here and there, but don't expect much.

Finally got back into writing. Day 2 of Ten Days is under construction and coming along nicely. Expect it... soon.

Social obligations. Lots of them.

I need my head to be in a particular place to be able to pump out a story, and it is very difficult to reach that point when I have friends and family home, giving me little time for myself. While I can technically force myself to write in the hopes of reaching that transition so the momentum carries me onward, I don't enjoy doing it too often.

Outline is just about done, so once finals are over I'm going to get to writing it. Should be done by Christmas.

But not until I finish proofreading it. I'm actually fairly surprised how well this turned out. Lots of depth to the characters that I never expected to be there EXCEPT I TOTALLY INTENDED FOR THEM TO BE LIKE THAT THE WHOLE TIME. But yeah. All in all I can already tell that I'm really going to have fun with this story.

Writing has been going slowly. Mostly because I've been having trouble finding that drive I've had in the past to keep writing. I've also decided to stop making promises about stories since I've failed miserably at keeping those. They'll be up when they're done.
