Between finals coming up and half of my teachers assigning huge projects I've been unable to do any writing recently. That, on top of getting three prospective clients and one confirmed client for my job are preventing any creative juices from flowing. Remember when I said I'd get the next chapter done by now? It seems the universe wants me to get everything done after I say it will be. In other words, Saturday morning greeted me with being violently sick which continued throughout the weekend until today. As a result, I've been sleeping, a lot. No writing, just sleeping. I swear the universe thinks of me as some kind of cruel joke.

My laptop crashed and burned today requiring a full wipe and re-installation of my OS all my files. It also had the first half of my season 4 premier review and two VERY large assignments (finished and due that morning I might add) on it without a backup. Needless to say, much angst was felt today.
So yeah, back up your files and stuff.

You guessed it, the first chapter of Flight is delayed because my brain hates me. I'm currently about 1000 words in but I should be done in a few days, no promises though. Why did I decide to use dreams as a literary device? WHY? They can be so hard to write. *sips tea* Ok, I feel better, here's to chapter one's eventual posting!

So last night I managed to finish the prologue to Flight, at 2:00 in the morning. Never fear though, caffeine rescued me in time for school and, hopefully, my performance of The Tempest tonight. Now that I'm not quite as busy I should be posting at least every couple of weeks, depending on by brain's ability to write.
