Who's up for an amusing story/life lesson?

As a guitarist, I'm a bit of a pedal enthusiast. I may only have two, but the one I use is a Digitech Grunge distortion pedal. It screams, it's sexy, it's loud and I love it. However, I sometimes hit it on and off without shoes or socks on, so the result I get every now and again if I hit it wrong, the skin of my foot gets trapped between the pedal's switch and the body, which hurts quite a lot.
