So I finished the rite, and it's prequel. I wouldn't call them great successes, but I'm mostly satisfied with the results. However, I noticed something strange happening. People keep on tracking The Rite. Why? It won't go anywhere. Unless it's made really abundantly clear that a lot of you want a sequel (which is unlikely), then it probably won't happen. So you can stop tracking this now. No point in doing so.

So, the rite is finally over. I probably won't do anything more on it unless I get reeeeeally bored. I can't say I didn't enjoy writing it. However, the results it got were pretty underwhelming. I did this as an experiment to see if I could write real fiction well at all, and the test results seem to say, "not bad" is the answer. The response from my friends was "oh wow, that was really good! You're really good at this!" but when I put it up for anonymous review, the response was a solid meh

It's done! It's finally done! My prequel to "The Rite" is complete! Do you get to see it yet? NO! I'm still showing it to my friends for proofreading and revisions. So the 2 people who are reading this get to wait longer! And if your name is Nick Salinas, then it doesn't even matter! Hooray!

So I was just checking the site, to see if anything interesting had come up, when I noticed something interesting. My story, "The Rite" has 666 views.
Mind = blown.
This story is now a product of the devil. In other news, the prequel is going well, and I am almost finished writing it. I won't give any set release date because 1) I'm not sure when it will be done, but soon, and 2) I'm pretty sure nobody is reading this anyways.
