I always hated author apologies when there was a long break in their stories, so I guess it's only just that I'm now having to write one. On that note, I'm sorry it has taken six months to produce a chapter.

Suffice to say, I've been busy. Four of the past six months have been spent on the road. I've been promoted and have taken three separate professional education courses. I've loved, lost, and had to deal with all the fallout that entailed. 2013 has been tumultuous so far.

I'm about 5400 words (one-thirdish) into Chapter Five. The dialogue between Ender and various ponies is a lot more difficult than I had originally envisioned. It was one thing when he and Luna were escaping through his dream of the Fantasy Game - there was an immediate threat on which they could focus. "Normal" dialogue is a lot harder to make believable.
