However, chapter 5 didn't get all the way I wanted it to (it would've been too long), so I'm now considering whether to post the interlude now or delay it even further so as to properly finish this little...thing off.
But then again, this is a good time for an interlude (because you're going to have even less of an idea of what's going on), so I think I'll go for that. Plus, I've had a few epiphanies on the subject.

Even I don't know all the things it does, and I feel like every page I write about it makes me even more scared of it. Okay, so EVERYTHING HAS BEEN REDONE AGAIN except this time it's mostly on paper. (Hurr hurr) I had to move all chapters around to make space for the prelude, which is needed for things to make sense further down the line. Thus: THE NEW CHAPTER IS CHAPTER 0 / THE PRELUDE. Read it, it has vikings in it. Because clearly all stories are better with vikings.

I threw my precious fic into the review machine over at ponychan, and got a few shots up my alley for it. Chapter 1 has gotten a MAJOR rework. Very major. And then another one that's almost as big. In other words, chapter 1 is now bigger, better and a nicer read than before. Hopefully. I encourage you to re-read it if you thought it was bad the first time around, or something. It's better now! Oh yes. The story.

The base of it started as a cross between the 1632 series of Eric Flint's Assiti Shard 'verse, and MLP. Add some vague references to irrelevant original property and possibly a Doctor somewhere (I mean, he can be part of whatever canon he wants, so why the hell not), stir with candy draconequus, simmer for 10 hours, serve while warm. There, you have yourself a story. Remarkable, isn't it!
