“You have GOT to be kidding me”

Magami sits behind a large desk in the makeshift town center hall of Maretime bay, with a line of concerned, confused and angry ponies going out the door and onto the street

Sunny and the gang saw this from a nearby building

“This definitely doesn't look good at all” she said with a concerned look on her orange face

“Let's get in and sort it out then” Zipp suggested

“Sure, but how are we supposed to…”

“Follow me”

Sunny and the rest of the gang followed Zipp to the back of the building , where an employee entrance was located.

“Okay, that's a solution, but we don't have a …”

Hitch pushed his way up and bucked the door frame with his back hooves, allowing the door to fall over

“Key…” Sunny said while smacking her hoof on her forehead, laughing in the process”

The 5 of them entered the back of the hall, and started searching around for a room with a most likely very distressed stallion residing in It.

The walls of the hall were very sound proof and it was hard to detect where commotion was happening, luckily, Pipp had an idea…

“Let me check if there's somepony that is streaming that is in the line”

“Oohh good idea! Then we can find where the cafeteria is!” Izzy said with her bubbly voice

“Haha, No Izzy, we're here to check in on a friend”

“Aha, it's this way!” Pipp put her phone away and started trotting down the hall and into a corner with a door that read “Do Not enter, government authority only”

“That’s got to be It!” Sunny exclaimed excitedly “Hitch, you know what needs to be done”

“Yes ma’am”

Once again, a door fell flat on the ground. In the middle of the room was Magami, who looked like somepony that hasn't seen daylight in a Millenia.

“Okay Everypony” Sunny yelled and got all of the guests attention

“President Magami here is going to be closed for questions at this time, thank you for your time”

The other 4 guided the guests out the door and onto the street, returning to the room and locking the door.

“What… I’m…” Magami muttered tiredly

“Done for a while, we’ll make sure of that” Sunny said soothingly as she rubbed his shoulder empathetically

“How long was I doing that for?”

“Long enough”

“Fair point”

“Listen, if you ever need us to intervene or help out in any way, please don't hesitate, you have done so much for the bay already , you deserve some leisure”

“Yeah, well , I still got this paperwork to get through” Magami said while pointing at a medium-sized pile of papers

“We can keep you company while you work on those” Pipp suggested

“Actually, i’d really like that, thank you”

And so it came to be , the 5 of them dispersed throughout the room finding something to do.

As Pipp set her phone on the shelf and pressed record, she started to sing, not anything with lyrics but just a gentle melody to lighten the mood.

Zipp , as the inherent detective she is, rummaged through some old case files from different points of history and started to read through them, like all of them.

Hitch found a couple of pots with soil in them and started to practice the newfound earth pony magic that has manifested.

Izzy scavenged the room for any unused material or object and started to “Unicycle”, which is apparently just making trinkets and Knick knacks out of junk.

Sunny, unlike the rest of them , decided to stay close to Magami; Sunny watched as he filed a variety of documents including: acquisition of authority (who knew becoming a leader could get so political all of a sudden), airspace rules and agreements (These are specifically for those untrained Pegasi that try testing out their new flight abilities near tall buildings), and many more.

This is all well and good ,However, Sunny’s reflexes were telling her to find another way to comfort him and relieve the stress “Should I?” she thought to herself

“Eh, screw it”

She began to rub her hooves behind his mane and underneath his shoulder blades, Giving him a nice massage .

It was immediately apparent that this indeed had worked, as Magami gave a relaxed sigh and laid back a bit.

“Thank you, I … actually really needed that”

“You are very welcome”

An hour had passed and Everypony had somehow fallen asleep, except Sunny and Magami…

Well, to be honest, they were sleeping as well, it’s different because …

Magami opened his eyes for a moment and felt a weight on his shoulder, Sunny had fallen asleep with her head and body rested comfortably on his side

“Im… not even gonna bother her, just let her do her thing I guess” he thought to himself

As everypony woke up, they realized it was the next day and all exited the building as a group.
On the way back to the brighthouse, Magami emptied a whole bag of mail into the letterbox, sighing in relief.

On the top of the Brighthouse, Sunny and Magami once again sat and conversed

“Well that sure was an eventful day i’d say” Sunny said to Magami with a cute smile

“Eventful yes, easy no, worth it , Yes” Magami said smiling back

“I don't even remember what happened for like the last hour” She said

“Oh, you all were asleep, so was I”

“Ohhh yeah, then I woke up then…” Sunny gave an embarrassed look to Magami, as he chuckled and said

“What do you dream about Sunny?”

She thought for a moment “My friends, My dad…”

She stared down at the ground for a moment and … a tear dropped from her eye

Magami felt his heart beating hard, he felt bad for the mare and wanted to comfort her.

“Sunny… Im… sorry for your loss”

“It’s okay… It just sucks because you always hear from others the importance of family, but my family is just… nonexistent”

The tears then turned into a sorrowful, quite cry as she looked up at the sky

Magami then knew what to do… He closed the distance between himself and her, and proceeded to give her a tight, warm hug.

“Sunny, Its going to be okay

I… am going to tell you something”

“Huh?” she said with a shaky voice, pressing her head into his mane

“You 5 really saved me today, you also… made me feel really special”

“Really?”

“Of course, you knew I needed a break from the chaos and acted upon empathy, which I appreciate wholeheartedly. It’s honestly almost like… we’re all family somehow”

Sunny’s face cleared up and a smile began to emerge

“I think you are right”

The two separated and said their goodnights , Magami looked back and said to himself

“Hm…, that mare…”

He paused for a second

“She needs me”
