Ch. 01 - Emptiness Around the World

Hundred years ago, there was Equestria. There were the colorful and safe places for the pastel colored ponies and other creatures to roam around, without getting harmed and killed. There was their ruler, Princess Celestia, and the co-ruler, Luna. They had all the power to save an protect their peasents.

But no..

Somehow, those colorful and powerful creatures failed on doing a single task. Protecting the darn kingdom. Protecting all the inoccent families, friends and creatures. Not just living beings, but buildings, plants, everything that could create even a slight curve on the horizon. It was depressing to watch the emtpy world where now the only living being could live. And that, was Rainbow Dash. She wasn't the same after this horrific accident. The dark magic, which was possibly responsible for all of this, deformed her body. It made her four legs really long, and tall. Tall as a whole apple tree. If an apple tree was even that tall..

"I lost my friends.. My family.."

"..."

"And.. all of this is actually real.."

Yes, it was very real. Thanks to the princesses, now Rainbow couldn't see the smiles on her friends' faces. Everything was lost. Everything.

Rainbow Dash wanted to scream, but her face only knew one expression and emotion right now, at that moment. Shock.

The fact that the whole plan of her friends, the princesses, the entire kingdom's happened infront of her presence, the fact that Rainbow tried fighting the new evil spirits, their ruler.. The fact that this thing hit her with full force, that it struck her on the ground like a lighting.. The fact that her friends hid her somewhere safe and continued fighting without her.

She was there.. Rainbow saw how it happened.. but she barely remembered anything that happened back there.

The colors were a little faded away, and it seemed that the things around her were slowly dying. Which was true. Everything, even the inanimated objects were dying. Dying because of those things, those evil spirits..

"Hey! Guys!! Let me help you all!! You need MY HELP!!! GUYS!!!"

...

She was late. While still trying to escape from the locked house where she was put in, her friends were getting destroyed by those spirits. The princesses were getting torn off into small pieces, and the world from the outside was basically melting. The colors were fading away, like old toys being left in a attic for twenty years. Rainbow Dash just couldn't remember the pure horror, written on their faces anymore.

The deformed pegasus was still walking on the empty land. It was now the only thing she could do, sence everything was gone. She couldn't feel anything, maybe a side effect from the dark magic, floating around the place. In the same air that the pale, rainbow pony breathed. Speaking of her rainbow colors, her mane and tail were getting even paler and paler. The same thing was happening to her blue coat and magenta eyes. Her cutie mark, a rainbow lighting bolt, was now almost gone from both of her flanks. And at the end of her long, tall and skinny legs were her hooves, almost as sharp as kitchen knifes.

"While probably the whole Equestria is like this, i now doubt it that i'll find something... 'cool'." Rainbow whispered to herself with the same raspy voice that she always had. "Who knows, i'll need actual good magic to find something 'awesome' and.. not depressing as.. this."

On her way, the deformed mare was kicking small rocks and dusty clouds were forming on the bottom on her legs, which was covering her leg fur with dirt and dust. And when it was getting really windy, her whole fur was getting covered in dust, including her mane and wings. This was making her look even more 'dead' and pale, just like the dust around and in this place.

After many, many stares at the empty, dusty and windy place, Rainbow Dash started to notice something... different. It was something she haven't seen in a long time.. colors. Real, neon, pastel, any kind of colors, right infront of her. When she finally walked close enough to the sorce of those pretty colors, the only thing there was just a small circle, full of every type of color in the world. Even the nonexistent ones. This small moment was like.. a dream-come-true for the poor mare. Like, what if this flashing circle was like a portal to another, better world? Where she could see anyone again? Where she could feel better, where she could taste real, awesome food and drinks, where she could talk to her friends again.. Where everything could be like it was before..?

Rainbow Dash was entering the colorful portal.
