Zapato said "Well you see, Juan Falabella was man who introduce additional bloodline of Shetland Pony, big moment in development of modern Falabella." that seemed like a good explanation, Zapato then continued by saying "Reason for farm Falabella is they are very useful, they can pull small carts, train children in riding horse, fertilizer, is why mi granja is cornerstone for all other farm in Argentina!" Zapato was clearly very proud of the farm that had been in his family's possession for only a generation or two.
His English seems a bit broken, haha. As someone who's bilingual, I think it's more common that Spanish speakers, instead of having broken English, have a smaller vocabulary (for example, they would say "the man", but they might not know how to translate fertilizer) and more pronunciation mistakes (such as R-rolling). Sadly, I'm not from Argentina, so I wouldn't know too much about them.
She made sure that the horse she wanted, deciding to nickname him "Caballo Caliente", which roughly translated to "horny horse", was paying attention to her, he was.
11343983 I'm in complete agreement! The reason I gave him broken English is that pronunciation error is tricky to represent in text and I didn't want to restrict the vocabulary too much, so it was the best way I could think of to make it clear that despite speaking English, it was obviously not his first language :)
